The Dragon is King's Treasure now

Draco Dormeins Nunquam Titilandus (Never Tickle a Sleeping Dragon) was unfortunately tickled & it had to sputter some fire.

This self-damage led the Dragon become the "King's Golden Treasure" in

http://divyasornaraja.wordpress.com/

Please read King's Golden Treasure for the Dragon's Fire!

Don't worry, the Dragon is still ALIVE!

PS>> The transition from Blogspot to wordpress caged the Dragon into The King's Treasure.
The Dragon will keep its fire Side UP as it's rage can never be controlled!! :-)

One Day! Some Day!

There will be a day when Poverty becomes History;
There will be a day when I smile & walk on a cleaner road;
There will be a day when my electric train travels are with school-going-kids with books not selling them;
There will be a day when every fellow Indian is proud about being one;
There will be a day when nobody is left hungry;
There will be a day when I don't have to worry about Fuel, as all had been taken care of;
There will be a day when all the Whales & deers & all the species in the world walk along;
There will be a day when a course of meal need not be struggled for;
There will be a day when the leaves shall fall & grow back the same;
There will be a day when every challenged person is treated just the same;
There will be a day when nobody is looked down for their deficit;
There will be a day when humans are valued better than money;
There will be a day when people respect each other;
There will be a day when being a girl is no way different;
There will be a day when the rivers are clear & drinking water is not a concern;
There will be a day when pollution is controlled;
There will be a day when blood is not shed to have something done;
There will be a day when bribe is just a word;
There will be a day when every kid has a mother & a father;
There will be a day when loyalty & honesty are prioritised higher;
There will be a day when the tongue stops twisting bad;
There will be a day when every human realises the value of time;
There will be a day when I see a smile light-up every face;
There will be a day when God shall look into my eyes & say "I am proud of you"!;
& until then, I shall strive for it.

Get the Hell Out of Here!!

My Indian Blood was put to a critical Stage & was subjected to a very High Fluctuation on temperature! We usually have good dining conversations at home. But strangely today, there was this conversation of 'buying' US Citizenship. With helluva "US" fanatics, there was this craze to try to buy an American Citizenship after an MBBS! Even worse, I regretfully have to admit that I do know an Uncle who is no more an Indian, & is already an American. Having settled there for nearly a quarter of a Century, he was celebrating his Citizenship. Unfortunately, that was a time when I put forth a few questions: 'Aren't you missing anything from India? Don't you feel you have a duty to give something back to the nation that grew you up?You don't even want to come back to show the Land, the love it bestowed on you?'

I believe I got one hell of a reply that broke my heart! His reason behind all the non-missing part was because India had the worst "Traffic", "poverty", highest "Pollution",least "Opportunity" & all the lame words in the world! Damn! What's wrong with these sort of people? Have they all lost their heart? Perhaps the climate out there have left their hearts as Cold as ever! I, initially, tried to kindle & bring out the Indian within them, but then I settled down with "My country needs true Indians whose love is unconditional to it & I don't have to beg some nagging naive to love something which has so much in it". I regret to have such uncaring non-passionate people in my nation that gave me all the care & love in the world!

If your house has some dirt in it, will you sell your house & buy a new one? You will probably clean the mess that your brother or sister made, right? It is the same sense. May be we DO have a bad traffic, but waiting in that Traffic, with a brother nudging you to change the Radio channel makes it good. May be we DO have a high Pollution, but that has made our immune System better than the rest of the world! May be there are lesser opportunities to you, as you never looked into the one next to you! All these flaws themselves are opportunities in the world! & as for poverty, people are working their way up! It is because that you never cared a DAMN for your brothers that they are still poor.

There is also this other notion of Bribery! I definitely agree that it exists in its worst form! But, the only point is, so many have the Guts to handle it, while you don't! If every single person feels the same & runs off the country giving pointless reasons, then who is going to put an end to the wrong happenings?!! I would rather prefer to stay alive in my nation than getting mugged or being eaten up by some Psycho-path!

At one point of the conversation, there was a talk of leaving the nation to lessen the population, send money back home & thus contributing to your nation! With the deepest emotion of being laughed at for claiming it as a 'Lame Excuse', I feel sorry for my Nation to have to bear with such sort of disloyal cowards!

People leaving the nation due to certain vicious circumstances are excusable. But the ones of this sort....will have to eat their words one day! & I would dare say..That day is not too far!

Lock, Stock & Management Game(A rare game)

I wanted to write this Blog a long time ago, but my exams took the toll. I happened to visit the Lock Stocks & Trade(LST) Competition in Great Lakes Institute of Management Studies(GLIMS, Chennai). I got the intimation pretty late after the Participation date was closed. (Apparently the mail went to my Spam Folder) So, I had to settle down as an Investor in the Competition.

About LST:
                 The Lock, Stock & Trade is all about the way Stocks & Trade work. It is a mock of the Stock Market & the Companies. If you are a company(Participant of the LST), then you will have to present your company's profile tempting the investors to invest in yours. If you are an investor, invest in the company that you have faith in & multiply your initial investment. Finally, the company with the Maximum worth is declared the Winner, while the Richest Investor after having multiplied the money is the Best Investor. Its like finding the Reliance & Warren Buffet from the competition.

                The good thing about the Game was that, it introduced students to the world of  Stocks & Shares. I have explored this world in my teenage by reading the Motley Fool books. Having anticipated to put that into action, I found this the best way to test my Investment Instincts.

Travel:
         I was happy to travel with the MBA First Years to explore their knowledge & perspectives. Being an Engineering student I wanted to know how they think & make that into action. Got onto the bus, & found myself sitting next to a few MBA girls. As usual, I started yapping & found myself a few more friends. The travel was interesting & fun filled.

The Event:
        Every 'investor' was given with Rs.50,000 each & will have to invest in 9 Competing companies having 4000 shares each. The Participants, looks like, interned with Real Time companies to pitch as the Companies. But, I must admit, the choice of companies were odd. I would say a few companies were just not the sort becoming 'Public'. But yet there were a very few choices as well. The Company's ultimate aim is to attract most of the investors. The investor's point is to make a lot of money out of his investment, of-course. The investor will have to quote the right amount guessing on the demand rate. The Initial Public Offer (IPO,Opening Share Value) is decided by the least bidding value quoted by the 4000th bidder in the order of decreasing Share Quotations. For example, the company "Wow" gets bidding from investors from Rs.450 to Rs.150, then it starts giving shares from the Rs.450 bidder & if the 4000th share is given to a bidder with Rs.300, then that Rs.300 becomes the IPO  & all its 4000 shares will be sold at that Rs.300. If one bids at Rs.400, then the remaining Rs.100 goes back to your a/c.

The Trick to win as an Investor:
          From an investor's point of view the trick was simple: Quote the right value to the right company with non-divergence i.e.

  • Limit the number of companies you invest. Investing in too many companies is not applicable for faster growth as that may lead to lowering the chances of multiplying your shares & value. Imagine you get 5 shares in 5 companies & only one of them fairs well. Then the profit is felt equivalent to only 1 share. But if you invest in 1 company & if that company fairs well, then the profit is in all 5 shares & hence the growth is faster. The amount of risk involved is greater, but to decide that 1 company, one needs to be a good analyser.
  • Quote the right share value: Don't quote it too high nor too low. If you quote a larger value, then your multiplying factor becomes less. Like in the case of a Rs.400 investor: He invests 400 for a 300 rupees share. For 400 he would have quoted lesser number of shares than possible with Rs.300 (Say for 400 you get 15 shares but for 300 you get 25 shares. If one shares value increases by Rs.10, then its a Rs.250 gain for the 300 investor compared to Rs.150 of 400 investor. If too low, you would not get the share at all.
  • Finding the right company: In a normal Stock market investment, one would look into factors like Management team, resources, Capital, the sustenance of the company, etc. But for this competition, you will simply have to find the 'Company' loved by all. You just have to find the company into which everybody would invest on. The factors like Smartness, answering capability, etc will decide. (Sometimes even a good-looking girl in a team will make a difference!!)
  • The correct Quoting amount would have to be the average of the extreme values (guess) that could possibly be quoted. I guessed that the Rs.300 & the Rs.150 will be the extreme calls and quoted all companies at around Rs.225.
                    After all such calculations & investments, Guess what happened? I ended up getting into the top investors list ending up understanding a lot more on Stocks & shares. If you find an LST program near-by, don't forget to participate & get the experience. Try having the above points in mind while you play LST. Someday, you would start investing & then you'll understand how LST helped you!

Hope that Drives it all!

I happened to visit a local Temple to get some fresh air & also to say a ‘Hi!’ to my favorite Lord Ganesh. It was completely an unplanned visit; I was the company for my next door friend who wanted to be there at the famous Lord Muruga’s temple to fulfill a vow.

Every time I visit a temple, I not only devote my time to God, but I also love to see the devotees; & their faith in God. Their belief that ‘Everything is going to be alright’; No matter what the problems are. The Hope & Faith, that drives the entire mass.

 There were families, businessmen, kids, & mostly women. These women were the Typical Housewife kind who comes to temple every Tuesday & Friday praying for the Health & Wealth of the family. They were easy to spot: with their typical Dressing Styles & their familiarity with the ‘Gurukkal’, carrying offerings from home. A look at them, sometimes, lightens me up! The Faith, that brings her week after week & month after month.

There was also a strange family near the ‘Vilakku’ (Lamp) lighting section of the temple. They borrowed from us, a match-box to light their lamp. After a while, I found the entire family lining behind the Head of the Family during the offering; his wife & 3 kids. At that moment, his eyes had the true mark of: “I Believe in You! I know things will be alright!” Some sorrow filled his eye, &at that moment, he had nothing but ‘Hope’ in his heart!

The crowd was thick & the night was damp. You will have to float in the crowd to have a glimpse at God! But yet, nothing deterred people! I was astounded by the eyes that shone with the spark. A spark of desperate desire to look at Him! To look at Him & leave behind the sorrow taking along the Hope!! No matter how heavy the heart was, it lightens the heaviness immediately. Faith that He will take care of every thing.

It was then that I realized what Dan Brown was meaning in his ‘Da Vinci Code’! The decision, that Robert Langdon takes at the end of the book. A decision to NOT to destroy the Factor called Faith, The Faith that lets people to Move On. The same Faith that lets us sleep in the nights despite the Bad Day, with the best Hope that Tomorrow will be better than today! The Faith that drives millions of Hearts to believe that sorrow has passed as God has intervened! The Faith that survives us in times of extreme depression! The Faith that drives the Great Elpis’s Hope!

Hail the Great Faith!

I wonder where this Great Elpis finds her origin with the Agnostics? Just a little curious to know! The Vibration one feels at the moment of being with the God: be it in a temple/church/mosque, is simply ineffable! Where from does an Atheist or an Agnostic get that?

PS>> I am a Believer of God! Not for the reason that I was brought up so! But for the reason that He has taught me to Hope! Even if my dreams don’t come true, He has taught me to Hope that it is for a better reason! Happy to have Hope & Faith! J

Attraction, Admiration Or Cursh?

People call it 'Sweet 16'. But that is an ironical phrase.

Teenage is one of the most difficult periods of all ages. Being like the Cat-on-the-wall, exploring the difference between the good & the bad; knowing what responsibilities are; making some of the toughest decisions & choices. Adding to all these, the Vibrations, Crushes, Attractions... I am very glad that I have crossed my teenage. To have crossed those confusing 8 years, I breathe a sigh of relief. Thanks to my sisters to have shown me the right way! Although school saw the beginning of Attractions, college tempted every one of us to the worst verge. Some even fell for it. They say "Life is Short. So, live it to the fullest!" & get commited. But it doesn't make sense all the time, does it?

They call it as "Love". But are you sure? Are you sure you have the Maturity to make such decisions? Are you sure that this person you chose is the "ONE" i.e., the one with whom you are going to spend the rest of your life with? Are you sure that your future is in the hands of this person whom you met a few months or a year before? Are you sure you want to share your deepest feelings with this person? Are you sure what you are entitling yourself to? These are the basic questions I would want to ask those who are getting into a "Committed" college life!

Most of these "Committed" situations arise due to the misinterpretation of words. There are marked differences between : Attraction, Admiration, Crush, Vibration & Love!!
Confusions arise when you don't know the differences between these various close feelings.

In most of the cases, as an idea of having 'fun', common friends start teasing a guy & a girl who are good close friends; then they get confused & finally end up confusing the status of their relationship. Mostly, the liking that one has over the other can be defined easily:

Attraction: This is the first confusion status. Good & smart appearance, behaviour, silent character/talkativeness & other habits tend to just attract you. This leads to admiration. Generally, the habits that you don't have attracts you to him/her. Attraction is mostly the culprit to confuse people.

Admiration: This happens when those qualities you don't have & wish you had, are possessed by that person. You actually admire that quality in them & tend to confuse that to ardence. Admiration is a mere expression of 'awe' mostly misread by the friends around.

Vibrations: This is just the next level of attraction. Its a slightly intense feeling of likliness, because of what they are. Just like good, better, best --> Attraction, Vibrations, Crush. It's like the Vibrations you have when you see Tom Cruise or Katrina Kaif. When the same feel comes on a guy/girl sitting next to you, it is redefined wrongly as "Love".

Crush: This is the simple word for "Head Over Heels" idiom. Just like how we go crazy, looking at a few celebrities; a crush on a person makes you do things you have never done before. It makes you go crazy & blinds you into doing something stupid, just to make your crush focus on you! This is a very common act that people get strangled to. When your close friends find you doing something like that, they declare you to have fallen in 'love'. A crush should never be the driving factor deciding your future spouse.

Love is what people call to be an ineffable feeling that you get when you care for someone out of pure affection & attachment. In Indian Family culture, it is what that develops out of the bond that entangles people. Like loving our mother, father & others due to our bonds with them.
We tend to confuse all the above levels of 'liking' somebody to 'loving' them.

In college, people even have changed & compromised their future plans just because of their 'Commitment'. Why do people want to fall into that pit so early? Why are people not looking into Life beyond? How many amongst these 'couples' in college would have thought about their family's reputation, current financial status? How many would have thought if this guy/girl fits in the family or not? Why do you think Indian Tradition veto-ed Arranged Marriage? Why should we get into such a responsibility soon? Having a Boy Friend or Girl Friend has become the fashion of the age! Call me Old-Fashioned. I don't care. But I still believe that the old traditions had some reason behind a few restrictions!

Having brought us up for Twenty-plus years, don't you think parents will be wise enough to give you the right choices? They would look into factors you would have never thought to get you into the right family. If you want to get into a Sparky Love Marriage, why don't you wait till you enter your mid-twenties to decide on the 'Spouse Factor'. May be at that age, being out of all the 'Likings', you would be clear & mature enough to decide.

It is such a sensitive & important factor that your future, sometimes even your career, depend upon. The moral support of the family & spouse always is necessary throughout life!!
Why are people hustling up to get into that pitfall. Westernisation is followed in this part of the Culture unnecessarily, but never to learn to behave. Why aren't people learning the "Manners" of the westerners rather than their Dating Culture!

I sometimes even find a few girls/guys being controlled in the name of 'Care' by their 'Committed' counter-parts. It marks a funny note in a few cases: Being 6 months older makes a Guy more responsible than the girl!:D !

Friendship without commitment is fine! But why to get into this trap?

To get 'Committed' is suicidal! Yet, people fall into the same pit!?! When are they ever going to learn? After falling into it & getting hurt? Hopefully before that! & I also pray that my friends who swore to stay together forever, DO keep their word! If not, I pray that they get the Will-Power to overcome their Disappointments!

Diwali Dreams: Where has all the charm gone?

Inspired by the wonderful Indian Culture, I write this on the eve of Diwali missing the olden golden days.

Diwali has always been the most expected festival of all times. Families, cousins & relatives meeting together. Sweets, crackers, & smiles all the way. Ofcourse, the new dresses & the fun attached. Diwali dream swirls back to those fun-filled days spent with cousins; boasting to be the fearless brave-heart, bursting the scary crackers; competing to have the best collection of fireworks amongst all cousins. I still remember the next-door neighbor who used to demonstrate competitiveness with our crackers. Those were Golden Days. :)
All these were around 5-10 years back. It was when there were only 2-4 TV channels & when we had the best fun of all times because we were all together. But, now, sadly, with the increase in the number of channels, & the special programs & movies, people glue themselves to it. Environmentally it is good to see the 'Cracker bursting level' decrease, but this feeling of being together has been diminishing as well. Only a few families seem to spend time together. Mostly, if its a Government holiday, everyone sit before the TV to have the so-called-fun.(if you call listening to some VJ interview some Actor/Actress as to what his/her favourite colour is, as fun) Yes, we do need relaxation, but how about spending some valid time with the family as relaxation? You can watch a movie or some extravagant-show anytime.But this time of celebrating with the entire family comes only once a year...

This Diwali, I was travelling back to Chennai from my hometown. During this strange travel, I saw the streets dark & empty, the front doors of most of the houses either latched from inside or wide open with the entire family sitting before the TV; & the travel was uncommonly silent. That too at 7.30pm on the best celebrated festival's date. This usually used to be the peak hour of celebration. Looks like there was some Super Hit movie on TV...

television2I was happy to see a few kids standing outside their houses trying to figure out a way to 'deploy' their rockets. But other than that, the streets were neat & clean unlike the years when the next morning used to have the roads garnished & coated with the cracker's paper bits..
Where has all the spirit gone? Diwali is supposed to be a day when you meet all your relatives, cousins, & the entire family. But, now, due to the personal economy, travel problems, work load, & transformed culture, spending a Festival has got itself a new definition.
Arrival of a holiday, makes a few to ask their curious questions: "What's the special movie on tv?", "What's releasing new?"...But  how about: "Who's coming home? Who are we are going to meet?"...

I was a TV junkie myself, so long. My mother used to push me off the TV & compel me to have fun with cousins. Now, that my cousins have all grown & most of them are either married or have got settled abroad with a nice fine job, we hardly meet during festivals. Its been a long time, since I even met a few. Now, I am very glad that my mum poked me off the TV seats. I would have never had those fun times again. The movies I was about to get hooked onto, are now being played very often on the same channel. And, I have also grown older to have such fun. Now, that I have come out of that craze on movies & TV, I find that the successive generation will be missing all that fun! Sadly, some kids hardly know who their cousins are.

Our culture consists of these closely knitted families to have all the fun in the world. Only a few lucky lads have that & amongst them, only the luckiest enjoy that. Fighting with cousins are the best too. Waking up early to burst the first cracker. Showing off that I am not scared to lighten that atom bomb, while being nervous on the inside... :) ... Having the best sweets & sharing them... Early morning mantras to chant... Rockets that fail/deviate from target... A few 'vedis' that don't burst at all... The heavy sad heart that shows up at the end of the day...the worst day of all --> To get back to school after the long awaited Diwali Holidays...

Those days are never going to come back again... Only memories creep... I really do miss all those cousins, neighbours, fun & those wonderful fights I used to 'celebrate' as part of Diwali... Not travelling alone...

Strangely, I was also accompanied by a few more passengers who were travelling along on this Diwali eve. When I asked my next seat 'bus-friend' on why she was travelling instead of having fun with the family, she replied that she had WORK on the following day ("SUNDAY"). That was because of a project release,she said. So, she was missing all the fun back home. This is the situation that this new "Work-culture" created to this country. I am not blaming her or her work-field; but I am feeling bad for her family. They are going to miss her on the special occasion. The reason of having festival is mainly an excuse to be with the family & have fun.

This was my first travel on a festival occasion. This has also become the first time to have realised how lucky I  was & how much fun I had. I was counting my blessings. I also realised how this TV is spoiling the roots of these Festival concepts.

I don't remember of thinking of celebrating Narakasura's death when I used to light a firework; I only remember seeing my family smiling at me to hustle back to them safely after lighting it. Where has all that charm gone? Is it going to fade away? I don't want electronic fireworks/crackers being launched online as part of FUTURE! I would only want to be with my family; be together & have fun.
Anyone reading this, please make it a point to spend the best of all times with your family! Even if you won't miss it, let your family not miss you!!

Women don't need help!

For God's Sake, can somebody please stop this "Ladies, First!" phrase? I don't think women are weak to require any assistance or guidance! If required let them ask that to you, after they have given it their best shot!

Every time, a courteous young man pays respect to me because I am a woman, I feel a little inferior & guilty to have made those men standing in that Queue even longer.

Also, people have been talking about giving 33% seat allocation to women in the Parliament. I am NOT for it!It's never a Cake-Walk for anybody at that cause to enter into the Parliament. The only concern is, 'If they want a reservation to just enter the Parliament, then how are they to manage supporting their constituency?' I, being a women myself, feel that this is not fair enough. I don't believe that the Society is totally Male Chauvinistic.  Men DO find it uncomfortable to follow the lead of a Woman first, but if you are good enough, you can very well change their attitude or convince them to follow your lead. Sometimes, to be very honest, this word, 'Male Chauvinistic Society' is used pretty common & sadly even in spots where it makes no sense at all.

In a nut-shell:
Being a girl/women is not an excuse to get our work done. Prove people that you are good enough for that spot, then take it away. If you have worked for it, proved that you are better & still don't get that due recognition, then call it a Male Chauvinistic Society. May be I am right, or may be I lack the exposure to these "Societies", but getting a better priority just because I am a girl/woman is only conveying the message "I am weak. I need Help!". I would rather choose to convey, "I am worth it & don't you dare deprive that away!","I can very well take care of myself! Thanks a lot for the offer, though!".

Under-grads are NOT kids!

What the hell is wrong with the Environment I am living in? I've always loved the place wherever I was put up. But I am now making an exception. The present College Education & the Under-Graduation in South India is totally in a Pity-able status. As per the known facts, the reason why we have lesser R&D scientists & other 'should-be' Remarkable Personalities, is that they never really let the "Free Will" of a student to fly like the Kite. It's always trapped into a casing fully filled with Rules, Regulations & Restrictions.

Every human is definitely bound to Limitations, but these limitations should not bind the mind. Once we start binding it, we start restricting its growth. All exceptional Great ones we meet in India, are the ones who had the guts to break these rules. But why on earth do we want these type of colleges that restricts a girl or a guy from talking with each other. Aren't they making it even more uncomfortable for them to move on in their Working Part of their life? Restrictions are needed at times; but not as a rule to be strictly followed & monitored. It has been proven that only a free mind can bring out the best potential out. That's why the German Style of a University has a hit over the world. We have the Heisenberg, Einstein, & so more because of the free thinking environment they were lucky to have. Indians are a mark of wit to a few. But, that's only the few lot, who were able to cross the odds. Imagine, if the South Indian Private Colleges were to have a non-restricted Campus, how phenomenal could the outcome rise to?!

When I tried to find out as to why a South-Indian Engineering College Student is being levied with so many restrictions, I came across a few :

a) The fees is damn heavy, so this indirectly pressurises those who run it, to take responsibility of him/her.
b) The fees is still paid by his/her parents! This means your still under their control both mentally & financially.
c) In South-India, families are generally NOT very comfortable with love marriages. So, when they send their son/daughter to a college, they don't want their 'kids' to start thinking about a partner.
d) The culture & the Society is held at the Highest Position & they don't want any part of their reputation being spoilt.
e) The ones running a Private College is from a completely different Generation, having NO clue on what the Future Trend is going to be. They hardly understand why someone is into college education. They are almost clueless to differentiate between a college & a school!!

The whole point is,
"Why do you ever want to call it a college if you consider it as the next grade of School?!? I can very well stay there in a school to learn the same 'discipline', 'punctuality', & all such moral basics. He/She is 17+ & you still want to bring them up?
 Why don't parents, here, Question these colleges about this?
Are we not educating ourselves to learn on how to manage when exposed into the real world as in the working environment?
If not my curriculum, atleast the college's environment can help with it, right? The curriculum is completely OBSOLETE which would take nearly a decade to change! So, why not try changing the Environment?
Colleges can produce millions of 'Working Class' people. But how many of these type of colleges are ever going to produce 'Innovators', 'Trend-setters', 'Ideation Experts', ... Are they stimulating to put an end to the thinking class??
Is this the reason why, South India has lesser Entrepreneurs than the North? Are these Institutions curbing these free minds? Is it a dread? Can something be done about it?

I don't want my Successors to get into a deficit of exposure. Should someone running such an institution be educated or counselled? Academics are not everything, is it?"

The Basic Fundamental Reason of Existence of Education is at stake, isn't it?
It is supposed to be providing the base to provoke me to think, (Not to MUG), to analyse, to aid me understand things at a better pace & so on. Mind you, these are all that I will need for my Career & for my future uplift. When is this scenario in the South going to change?

Damn It! Just Stop It!!

Walking down an Indian Road, I happened to hear a criticism that India is never maintained clean & the Government is only fit for taking the bribes!! But, the thing is, what on earth have you done to even spell a word on the Government!?! Strangely, we love the 'Blame Game'. Something is not alright?; then it was "HE" who did that! Just point a finger to someone else & get out of trouble! How many of us are ready to actually Accept & Admit our fault!?! We keep saying Govt is useless...they never do this...they never do that... Aren't we forgetting that WE actually are the major part of the Government? The guys in the Government are your mere nominees to precisely solve your issues if any! If things are not working good, you can try to solve that issue! Remember, every time you blame the government, you are actually blaming you for selecting that very government! I am not supporting any part of the Government! All I say is, take the First Step to make a change, believe in it, & never ever talk low on the respect for the nation!

It is true that our roads are often littered & are not very clean. But who littered it?Who messed it up? It was you wasn't it? It was you who threw a waste wrapper or a paper out of a car/bus window. You wouldn't do that had you been in another country, would you? You would be at your international best behaviours & would have sense to never litter! Also, these smokers are very comfortable to throw their cigars just like that. The worst hell of a common act is the spitting habit! Somehow, we have got to make people realize that when you spit, you are actually spitting on your own self & your family! Well, we can't expect some Mr.Magic to swish his wand & make a cleaner India! That happens in a Fairy Tale & sadly Mr.Magic is missing & his wand is broken!

The whole point is, why can't you be a Mr.Magic? You don't need a wand for this! All you would need is just the guts to say, "Damn it! Just Stop It!" When every single patriotic Indian raises his voice, we can definitely bring a change! You see someone spitting, or someone littering the road or some kid begging in the signal or forcing you to buy a book because he's hungry, why don't we just say, "Damn it!Just Stop it!"!?!

My humble suggestion is, please don't ever give even a single paise to any beggar! You have a bleeding heart & can't leave without helping? Call the helplines & connect the kid with an ICCW or an old lady with some homage. Please don't encourage them giving money! Because every time you pay a beggar, you are encouraging that act & are seeding India to become the land of the Beggars! Once everybody stops using this concept of making money out of Sympathy, then these count on beggars would drop. So, even if you see someone paying a beggar, stop them! If they really have concern for another human being, then have a voice to say, "Damn it! Just stop it!" & ask them to take the beggar elsewhere to get the aids!

If anybody reading this have any suggestion to add on to this list of 'damns', please comment on this same! & if you'd like to join "Damn it! Just Stop it!", well, you are in! All you have to do is to start raising your voice against all such 'damn' activities!

Please do comment in case you have a point to include!

I believe ONE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!

P.S.>>Why not we start voicing against these people who pay the beggars?All we have to do is 'educate' people that, when some1 pays a beggar, they are actually: a)Seeding another "Poverty" tree for India! b)Out of the amount that they assume to be giving as part of Karma: 30% go for Bad Habits;20% for food & 50% for Saving! So, literally you are partly aiding the Beggar to get into Bad Habits. c)It also means that the Beggar is smarter than you & you are stupid enough to pay him to become even more lazy! In other words, you are creating a few more Beggars to the country & making that as another Professional option for the Poor! If you really feel like helping a Beggar & also feel he's really having a miserable time, then find a shelter for him! Get him to the hands of an NGO. There are so many NGOs doing so much for them. They even tried a Rehabilitation Centre for them!But these Smarty Beggars, never really tried getting on! We can propagate this msg to as many people as we know! Just in a signal, if u see some1 paying a beggar, STOP him!Tell him the 3 reasons why he shouldn't! Once you start voicing this in the Public, then people are likely to listen & wake up. In the public, atleast 10% of those watching you might wake up & start telling others as well. Only when we take the first step will something progress. It's going to be useless to wait for the govt or someone else to take the initiative. Also, these voices here, are never going to be heard by them unless a Revolution Happens! If you are patriotic, Love India & want to help voice for the change :leave your comment as a voice of support!Lets make sure that another SlumDog Millionaire movie is NEVER made again!We, being into this NxtG, can make Miracles! You don't have to spend time/money for this! All you need is the GUTS! If everyone give a voice in the public, then people will start thinking & once we break the cycle of those who pay the beggars, then slowly the ones making it a profession start poofing off! Whenever a profession stops earning the 'bucks', that 'profession' starts becoming invisible!So, what do you say if we all put our hands together?
